CUFA Code of Conduct PLAYERS

  1. Players must always maintain discipline – before, during and after training and matches.
  2. Players must be punctual for all training and matches.
  3. Team players train twice or three times a week with their team.
  4. Players must always show respect to their coaches, teammates, opponents, match officials and parents.
  5. Players do not use profane or abusive language or taunting or humiliating remarks and gestures towards other players, coaches, officials, and parents.
  6. Display sportsmanship before, during and after the match and training.
  7. Be humble in victory and gracious in defeat.
  8. Players should not attempt to try to strike or injure another player deliberately.
  9. Players should respect their parents as they are also committed to the player’s sport.
  10. Players are responsible for maintaining their football gear in good condition.

CUFA Code of Conduct PARENTS

  1. Be punctual and report on time for the matches.
  2. Refrain from coaching your child from the sideline.
  3. The coaches are responsible for coaching your child.
  4. Do not comment on other players, teams, match officials, and parents other than in a positive manner.
  5. If you are unhappy with a referee’s decision, inform the coach and do not approach the referee.
  6. Always support your child with positive comments.
  7. On the way home, highlight positive actions, passes, saves, etc., not bad ones. That is how your child will stay committed to the sport
